Meet Faye Bordeaux
NEW LEADERSHIP FOR PITT COUNTY
A native of Pitt County, Faye Bordeaux is married to Greenville businessman, Frankie Bordeaux. They have five children. Mrs. Bordeaux graduated from North Pitt High School in 1979. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a Master of Arts from East Carolina University. She serves on the Board of Trustees for The Horizons Program at The Oakwood School. This program provides academic instruction (remedial and enrichment) to low-income public school students during the summer months.
Mrs. Bordeaux is an advisor for the Pitt County Youth for Justice and Change organization. She serves as Chairwoman of the Falkland Democratic Precinct. She is a past member of the East Carolina Board of Visitors and the current Chairwoman of NC Reentry Innovators for Success. She is also member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and is a member of Saint Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church.
“My parents taught me the importance of giving back. Throughout my adult life, I have served my community. I have worked as a mental health counselor and social worker, a community volunteer, PTA Mom, youth advocates and advisors and have been active in numerous civic and community events to help Pitt County build a better place to live, work, play and learn.”
